7th to the 13th of May.
THE HUB 9 HOLE Changing to (White Tees) for a week or so.
If you don’t fancy 18 holes or want a quick golfing fix before or after work well “The Hub”
nine hole is the competition for you, week 4 is off the White TEES. Remember you need a
minimum of 6 Cards to Qualify. Weekly winners and leaderboard will be refreshed and
posted in the hall. Running every day all summer long. Remember if you win the Week our
friends at “THE HUB” will give you a small voucher towards a meal of your choice.
To cater for our more discerning Visitors and Members ‘The Bulmers 18 Hole’ “Blue
Tees” Summer series is in full swing. Updates and Results will be posted in the hall in the
next few days.
As summer the weather is trying its best to get going therefore.
Until Further Notice: Preferred lies are in operation. lift clean and place within 6 inches on
the fairway, play it as it lies in the rough.
Jimmy Bruen Rules:
Handicap Range: Male over 18’s
i) To be eligible, players must have a handicap Index that was active on 1 January in the
year of the event and no less than 3.5 in the previous calendar year. ii) Players must have
20 scores recorded on their handicap record as of 31 December 2022. iii) For a pair to be
eligible, their lowest Handicap Indexes in the previous calendar year, when added together,
must not be lower than 16.0. iv) All matches are played off scratch.
Junior Cup Rules:
i) To be eligible, players must have a Handicap Index that was active on 1 January in the

Junior Golf.
Our Fred Daly team had a good win away to Tipperary GC last Saturday. Next up is a home
fixture versus Tramore GC next weekend. Best of luck to the team.
Our junior foursomes were beaten away by a strong Tramore team on Saturday 6th. A great
performance just fell short.
The entry sheet for the club junior matchplay is still displayed on the junior notice board at
the club. Will be available for junior players to sign on until next Friday.
Seniors
The next Clonmel Seniors competition takes place on Thursday next 11 th May. Draws from
10.00am to 11.30am. Hope to see you all here for our 12 Hole scramble.

Hopefully the first signs of warmer weather will bring those members who have not gotten
up to the club out onto the fairways soon. A new group of lady members have joined us this

Interclub Competitions.
The Minor Team were in hard luck when playing West Waterford last week.They fought
hard only to be denied on the 18 th hole in two matches. The efforts of all involved including
Team members, caddies and Managers Sheila O keeffee Thanks to everyone who supported
our team on the day.
