80+ Competitors competed for the “Doc Magnier” Senior Scratch Cup.

Clonmel Golf Club progressed through to the next round of the Jimmy Bruen a with a win over Carrick on Suir GC Sunday Last in Clonmel . I wish Carrick the best of Luck in The Junior Cup Playing in Clonmel Next Weekend in the East Munster Area finals of the GI Junior Cup.

LADIES NOTES:
The change in the weather has not dampened our Lady golfer’s enthusiasm on the golf course with large numbers playing in our weekly competitions. This is a good time to remind all that they must have returned three qualifying 18-hole competitions or six 9-hole qualifying competitions to be eligible to win our Lady Captains prize that takes place on Saturday July 8th. You have been warned!!

The 9-hole mixed competition will take place each Friday #. Draws at 5pm, 5.30pm and 6pm. We would encourage our ladies to join in as good fun is guaranteed and there is room for everyone. Catering facilities and craic are available in the bar afterwards.
Points to remember.
Prize giving will take place on Wednesday 28th June at 7pm in the clubhouse. This is for all winners in competitions sponsored by Clintons, Dylan Burke our Club Pro, John Kennedy Motors and Eldon’s. Thanks to all our sponsors that allow these competitions to proceed as a result of their generosity.
