Just a brief update in relation to the club classic which took place last weekend.
The event was a tremendous success as the total raised was well in excess of the initial target with the final figure (after costs) being in the region of €16,000 which is wonderful news. This outcome was due in no small way to the work and dedication of the classic committee who have worked tirelessly on this project since the start of this year.
A special word of gratitude to our many sponsors (be that teams or tee boxes) and I would encourage you to support them whenever possible.
Finally, can I thank all of the members who played , who made a donation, who bought a raffle ticket or who assisted in any way with the running of the classic – your support and participation is very much appreciated.
