Results from Friday 27th to 3rd of Feb.
Kieran Burke (16.3) and Mathew Power (26.3) shot what I think is a record score in week 4
of the CYP Scotch-Foursomes with a low score of 49 Gross giving them a 28 Net score 12

CYP Leader board:
Dessie Gunne is having a golf “Renaissance” as he leads the CYP on 12 points from Philip
Norris on 11 and Kevin Pyke on 10.
All still to play for 60 Players registered with scores on the doors…. weather wise bank
holiday Monday weather looks really good so get out there and put some points on the board
and let’s make the final a real quality field….
Week 5 of CYP:
Week 5 Of the CYP Sat 4th to Fri 10th Feb is a 12 Hole Stroke-Play. Saturday 5th was busy
but slowed again Sunday as the course was closed until 11am due to frost. Play resumed on
a glorious Sunday afternoon.
Upcoming Fixtures:
Week 6 of the CYP Sat 11th to Fri 17th of Feb Maher’s Londis CYP format as its
“Valentine’s week” the week of love how about an aggregate 4-Ball. Let’s see how much
you will LOVE your partner after this format 😊. Holes in Play to be confirmed. Please see
terms and conditions posted in the lower hall.
As requested on Sunday 26th of Feb we are going to run an 18 Hole Blue tees Winter Medal.
Sponsored by Paul Tobin Butchers in Abbey Rd. Prizes subject to participation! 1st past the
post and 4 by Category prizes 0 to 5, 6 to 12, 13 to 17 and 18+ If the weather plays ball we
will have placing on fairways and as it lies in the rough. All to be confirmed.
Course information: Please repair Pitch marks and repair divots.
Please use sand in divots as provided on the 1st, 6th and 13th tee-boxes.

Club Systems:
Firstly, we had some technical issues with BRS last Friday evening so I do apologize! We
are trying to make members & visitors experience on our website, social media, brs etc. alittle easier to navigate. So again, sorry for any inconvenience caused. The BRS may look a
little different to normal over the next few weeks which is to be expected. Hopefully we will
have these improvements bedded down in the next few weeks. Do check out all our
revamped social media platforms Facebook, twitter and Instagram. Also, our website will
have a different appearance and maybe down from time to time in the next few weeks or
so…! Please bear with us while work is ongoing.
